Winter bird photography in
the Black River Valley

Winter bird photography 1 January – 10 March

Wintertime is a good time for Bird photography up north. Birds that are difficult to see close during most of the year are attracted to feeding stations and appear on a daily basis.

We have comfortable hides with heaters and toilets that allow you to wait patiently for the birds without any lack of comfort. We provide you warm & cold drinks and snacks so you won't lack energy. The sessions start early morning so you are in position at the break of dawn. For the Eagles you have to sit til dusk.

Day 1:
Arrival & check in at B&B. Dinner and night in B&B.

Day 2:
Early morning transfer to Golden– and White-tailed Eagle hide, full day session dawn to dusk. Dinner & night in B&B.
